Tint is regulated by law
Car window tinting in Qatar falls under traffic regulations, and the windscreen, front side windows and rear windows are treated differently. Breaking the limit risks a fine, and you may be required to remove the film.
Why the numbers online conflict
On social media you will find different figures: some say 30%, some 50%, some mention recent amendments. Some are outdated, some are copied from other countries. That is why at Trust Car Care we rely on no circulating figure, and we publish no percentage that may change.
The source to trust
The only reliable source is the official one: the Metrash app or the Ministry of Interior. Ask about the permitted limit for your car before fitting; the final word comes from the authority, not from a workshop or a seller.
How we work
We fit window tint within the shades permitted in Qatar, and help you pick a shade that balances heat rejection with the rules. Remember: heat rejection comes from the film's construction, not its darkness. A light nano ceramic film can reject more heat than a dark standard film.
Before you book
Confirm the permitted shade for each window through Metrash, then ask us to measure the film on the meter in front of you. That way you choose a legal shade and know, in numbers, how much heat it rejects.
